The hotel is located in northwest Berlin, very closee to Tegel Airport.

Holiday Inn Berlin CIty-West, 80 Rohrdamm, 14050 Berlin, Germany
Telephone: +49 (0)30 38 38 9-0

Getting to the hotel by car:

Coming from Hamburg on highway A111 going south; exit Saatwinkler Damm; turn left on Rohrdamm.

Coming from Hannover/Nürnberg on highway A115 north to junction Funkturm; turn on to highway A100 north direction to Reinickendorf/Tegel-Airport; exit Siemensdamm; follow Siemensdamm; turn right on Rohrdamm.

Getting to the hotel from Tegel Airport (see map below):

To come to the hotel by bus and U-bahn, exit the A Terminal (where you go past the Information desk) or walk to the main entrance of the A terminal (if arriving at another terminal) and walk to the outer curb slightly to the left to where the city buses stop. The inner curb is for taxis. Get on either of the X9 or 109 buses, and buy a Tagetskarte (6,50 Euro) if it is early in the day (and you might want to go to central Berlin). This all day card is good for buses, trains, S-bahn, and U-bahn throughout the Berlin ABC district, and encompasses both airports as well as outlying cities such as Potsdam. Otherwise, just purchase a single ticket for 2,10 Euro, and validate it immediately in the bus. If on the X9 get off the bus at the first stop, or if on the 109 get off at the 3rd or earlier stop, at Jacob Kaiser Platz, and go down this U7 U-banhof, and take the U7 in the direction of Rathaus Spandau. After descending the stairs at Jacob Kaiser Platz, you turn to the left, go up a short flight of stairs, walk around to the right, and then descend to the U7 platform. Get on the train and exit at the third stop, Rohrdamm. When you come up to street level, you will be on Nonemstrasse. Turn around and you will be facing the nearby intersection with Rohrdamm. Don't bother walking to the intersection, but just walk around the U-bahnhof entrance, and turn left between the entrance and a war memorial mini-plaza. Walk north along a large building, part of the Siemans complex, and then across a parking area, and underneath a dilapidated S-bahn overpass. The hotel property begins just on the other side of this overpass, and you only have to walk another 60 meters to the main entrance to the hotel.

To come to the hotel by taxi, simply exit the A Terminal (as above) and turn left to get a taxi. You may also find a taxi by exiting the A Terminal to the interior open air part of the A Terminal between gates 8 and 9. If you arrive at Terminal C, simply exit the front of the terminal and the taxis are available right away; if none are waiting, turn right, walk up the stairs, and take the covered walkway over to Terminal A, where you will find the taxis just before entering Terminal A. If you arrive at Terminal D, exit the terminal and walk to the left to Terminal A, where you can get a taxi just past the main entrance.

To come to the hotel via the free hotel shuttle, call the hotel in advance to arrange to be picked up upon arrival. The shuttle will usually be waiting in the interior open air area inside of Terminal A, so check with the hotel about which gate to wait at for the shuttle.

Getting to the hotel from Schoenefeld Airport (see map below):

To come to the hotel by train, follow the signs in the terminal for the trains, and then exit the terminal and turn left to walk under the covered walkway to the train station. On the lower level at the Fahrkarten machine, buy a Tagetskarte (6,50 Euro) if it is early in the day (and you might want to go back to central Berlin for some sight seeing) This all day card is good for buses, trains, S-bahn, and U-bahn throughout the Berlin ABC district, and encompasses both airports as well as outlying cities such as Potsdam. You basically have three choices: (1) Take the S-bahn S9 and get off at Wilmersdorfer Strasse. At this station walk following the signs to the U-bahn U7, and take the next U7 train in the direction of Rathous Spandau. Exit at the Rohrdamm U-bahnhof (8 stops after Wilmersdorfer Strasse), and then walk around the corner and down teh street to the hotel; (2) take the S-bahn S45 as far as Jungfernheide bahnhof. Get off and transfer to the U-bahn U7, and take the next U7 train in the direction of Rathous Spandau (4 stops after Jungfernheide. Exit at the Rohrdamm U-bahnhof and then walk around the corner and down the street to the hotel; (3) take one of the regional trains from the airport to central Berlin and transfer to the S-bahn (S5, S7, S9, or S75) at any of the large central stations (Hauptbanhof, Zoologischer Garten), and then switch to the U-bahn U7 as detailed above at Wilmersdorfer Strasse, and on to Rohrdamm u-nohnhof as explained above.

You may also find a taxi by exiting the A Terminal; you will be travelling from the outskirts of southeast Berlin to northwest Berlin, so expect to pay 50 Euros or more for the ride.
